QCan I have a late check out?

We accept extensions for a fee.
For extensions up to 16:00, we will charge half the room rate for one night, and for extensions after 16:00, we will charge the full room rate for one night.
In addition, for guests using the Platinum Package, late check-out until 16:00 is available as a package benefit.

QDo you have extra beds or baby beds?
A

We can provide these for an additional charge. Please let us know when you make your reservation. Extra bed: $80.00/night (tax and service charge not included) Baby bed: $10.00/night (tax and service charge not included)

QWhat size are the beds?

QIs there a coin laundry?
A

There is no coin laundry. Please use the laundry service (for a fee).

QCan I use Japanese electrical appliances as they are?
A

The voltage in Palau is 110V, type A outlets, so Japanese electrical appliances can be used as they are for short periods of time. However, we recommend using a transformer for long periods of continuous use or when using precision equipment. (If you are using a transformer, please prepare it yourself. PPR does not have transformers for rent from Japanese voltage available.)

QIs internet access available in the guest rooms?
A

Guests staying at our resort can connect to the internet for free using Wi-Fi from the hotel’s Hot Spot with their own laptop or smartphone in most areas of the resort. However, please note that as Palau is an island country, the connection speed for Wi-Fi in the resort is slower than that in Japan.

QAre there any restrictions on the number of people or age?
A

The maximum occupancy for the Water Bungalows is 2 people. Children under 18 years of age are not permitted to stay. The maximum occupancy for the Pool Villas is 3 people, but up to 4 people can stay, including children sleeping in the same bed. Extra beds can be arranged for an additional fee for each Pool Villa.

QI’m not staying at The Pristine Villas and Bungalows at Palau Pacific Resort, but can I still enter the area?
A

We apologize, but guests other than those staying at the hotel are not allowed to enter the area.

QIs smoking allowed in the restaurants?
A

Smoking is only permitted in certain areas of the Mesecue Waterhole Bar.

QDo I need to make a reservation for the restaurants?
A

Reservations are required for the Dining Room. For dinner, please make your reservation by 10:00AM on the day of your visit. You can use the other restaurants without a reservation, but we recommend making a reservation for large groups or on weekends and other busy days. For private dining such as King & Queen Dinner and Dining on the Ocean, and for beach barbecues, we ask that you make a reservation in advance due to the preparation of ingredients.

QDo you have a children’s menu?
A

We have a children’s menu for children aged 7 to 12 years old, including mini burgers, French fries, spaghetti, milkshakes and vanilla ice cream. Also, at Coconut Terrace, children aged 0 to 6 years old who are accompanied by a paying adult can eat for free (up to 2 children), and children aged 7 to 12 years old can eat for half the adult price, so please make use of this as well.

QCan you prepare a birthday cake?
A

We can decorate a vanilla or chocolate cream cake with fruit toppings and your name. For details on prices, etc., please contact the Japan Sales Office. *Please allow enough time to arrange for a cake. Please note that due to the arrangements for the local hotel, we may not be able to accept requests at the last minute.

QIs there a dress code for the restaurant?
A

There is no dress code at Coconut Terrace, but we recommend that men wear a collared shirt and chinos, and that women wear a dress or similar attire when dining at Medu Livital Restaurant, King & Queen Dinner, Dining on the Ocean, and Dining Room, as this will help you enjoy the atmosphere more. Please refrain from entering Medu Livital Restaurant in flip-flops.

QPlease tell me about the lounge.
A

The Pristine Villas and Bungalows at Palau Pacific Resort There is a lounge for guests staying at the hotel. Guests can enjoy complimentary snacks (cookies, nuts, fruit) and soft drinks (coffee, tea, etc.) throughout the day. During the evening happy hour, we also offer alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, snacks, and finger food.

QIs there a babysitting service?
A

We can act as an agent for the contract between the baby sitter and the customer. The formal contract will be completed when the customer signs the contract after arriving at the hotel. Please let us know as soon as you have decided on your plans, as we may not be able to arrange it if you apply at short notice.

QWhat types of credit cards can I use to pay?
A

VISA, MASTER, JCB, DINERS, and AMEX are accepted.

QCan I use traveler’s checks for payment?
A

We do not accept traveler’s checks.

QCan I exchange Japanese yen for US dollars at the hotel?
A

Yes, you can. However, the daily limit is 20,000 yen per room. The cash exchange limit for traveler’s checks is the same as above.

QCan you arrange for airport transfers?
A

We can arrange for transfers between the hotel and the airport at the following rates. (NECO Bus Company) $33 one-way / $66 round-trip Children aged 0-6 who can sit on their parent’s lap are free of charge. If you would like us to arrange your transfer, please let us know your flight information (arrival and departure flights and dates) and where you made your accommodation reservation (name of travel agency or reservation site). *Transfers arranged by our resort are shared transfers. If you would like individual transportation, please contact us.

QHow do I get to downtown Koror?
A

There is no public transport in Palau, so please use a taxi or rent a car. Some restaurants offer free pick-up and drop-off from the hotel. Please check with the restaurant when making your reservation.

QAre there any activities organized by the hotel?
A

We offer nature trail tours and snorkeling lessons on the PPR grounds. Please check the details in your room.

QCan I charge purchases at the hotel’s stores and facilities to my room?
A

Purchases at the Splash Dive Center and Captain Wilson Gallery cannot be charged to your room. Please pay for these purchases each time you use them. All other purchases at the stores and facilities can be charged to your room.

QWhat tours can I sign up for at the tour desk?
A

If you plan to apply for a tour locally, the hotel has brochures for tours from various travel agencies. We can help you arrange your tour at the Guest Services desk. *As of January 2025, the tour desks of various travel agencies are closed.

QCan I arrange a car rental?
A

We can help you with this at the Guest Services desk. You can also make a reservation in advance at the Japan Sales Office.

QI would like to send a gift from Japan to a friend staying here on their honeymoon.
A

We can deliver a fruit basket or bottle of wine to your friend’s room with a message from you. For details on prices etc., please contact the Japan Sales Office.

QI’m not very good at English.
A

Please be assured that we provide guidance in both Japanese and English for most things, from how to use the in-room safe to restaurant menus. If you have any problems, please consult with our Japanese-speaking staff.

QI’m planning to stay at The Pristine Villas and Bungalows at Palau Pacific Resort. Will I be able to use the facilities at Palau Pacific Resort?

Guests staying at The Pristine Villas and Bungalows at Palau Pacific Resort have access to all facilities within the resort, including the private beach, beach activities, tennis courts, and the activity center.

QCan I make a reservation for the spa in advance?
A

Yes, you can make a reservation at the Japan Area Sales Office. Please choose a menu and make a request.

QCan three of us have a spa treatment together?
A

The spa villas are divided into two types: those for two people and those for one person, so if you are three people, you will need to use two villas.

QHow long before my appointment time should I arrive at the spa reception?
A

Please arrive at the spa reception 15 minutes before your appointment time, as you will need to have a brief consultation before your treatment.

QIs Japanese spoken at the spa?
A

The spa therapists basically speak English.
